About the role

  • Trade Compliance Analyst managing customs and compliance data for Canadian operations. Ensuring adherence to trade regulations and supporting internal audits and CBSA requests from the Toro Company.

Responsibilities

  • Broker management
  • HS classification
  • Monitoring changes to the Canadian tariff and duty rates
  • Maintaining electronic recordkeeping of documentation and data for customs entries and amendments (B3 & B2)
  • Extracting and analyzing trade data from CARM, customs brokers, and internal software to perform internal compliance audits, resolve identified issues, and perform corrective actions
  • Performing CUSMA and other free trade qualification analysis
  • Assisting in all projects relative to CBSA requests & audits

Requirements

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in trade compliance, customs, or supply chain operations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field; professional certification in supply chain preferred
  • Specialized certification in trade compliance (e.g., customs compliance, international trade regulations)
  • Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian and Mexican customs regulations
