About the role

• Field Service Engineer at Sartorius responsible for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of bioprocessing equipment. Travel to customer sites in Ireland to ensure adherence to GMP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Daily travel to customer sites to install equipment
• Validating and commissioning of equipment i.e: bioreactors, filtration, biowelders, biosealers and more in a cleanroom environment adhering to GMP guidelines
• Repairing, maintaining, and calibrating equipment
• Writing and reviewing routine documentation such as SOP’s and process documentation, prepare service reports
• Using field automation systems and liaising with technical team, logistics, engineering and support teams and sharing information across the organization
• Following company procedures and protocols i.e: GMP regulations

Requirements

• Completed an HNC/HND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Experience as a field-based electromechanical engineer within the pharmaceutical industry following GMP guidelines; candidates from other industries i.e.: medical, food, drink etc. will also be considered
• Experience of servicing automated systems
• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily tasks
• Strong customer service skills and great communication skills
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
• Right to work in Ireland
