About the role

  • SAP Basis Inhouse Administrator responsible for maintaining SAP system landscape. Collaborating with IT departments and supporting business processes in a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities

  • Management and maintenance of the SAP system landscape
  • Planning and coordination of SAP software updates/upgrades
  • Monitoring system performance and performing performance tuning
  • Implementing and managing security policies
  • Analyzing and resolving technical issues and incidents
  • Monitoring backup and recovery processes
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation and operating procedures
  • Collaborating with other IT teams and business units to support business processes
  • Managing and coordinating hosting service providers
  • Providing technical support for SAP systems

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in SAP Basis administration
  • Solid knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, Fiori Launchpad, and SAP HANA technologies
  • Experience with operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and SAP HANA databases
  • Knowledge of user and authorization management is desirable
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and team player
  • Good written and spoken German
