About the role
- Senior Generation Accountant overseeing financial data and accounting activities for Generation assets & Hubs. Collaborating with Finance Business Partners and preparing budgets and reports.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial data of Generation assets & Hubs
- Perform month-end and year-end accounting activities including accruals and reconciliations
- Partner directly with Finance Business Partners and stakeholders from Operations and Asset Management
- Prepare internal & external budgets and periodic re-forecasting for Generation business
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and external regulatory requirements
- Maintain detailed financial records and documentation for auditing purposes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar (CPA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified)
- Strong experience with cost accounting, controlling, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software, SAP, Power BI, BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Flexible in supporting EU stakeholders during peak closing and budgeting periods
