About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define, own, and communicate the product vision and roadmap for customer-facing AI applications, aligned with Sanoma Learning’s AI strategy and market needs across multiple countries
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, data science, integrations, legal, content, commercial, and country organizations to turn strategy into shipped outcomes
  • Own end-to-end product delivery, including discovery, prioritization, release planning, launch coordination, and post-launch optimization
  • Oversee product releases and dependencies across multiple teams, ensuring quality, continuity, and readiness for market
  • Translate strategic goals into actionable plans by refining epics, features, and stories, keeping priorities transparent and focused on user and business impact
  • Champion data-informed decision-making, leveraging usage analytics, experiments, and user research to continuously improve learning outcomes and adoption
  • Act as a steward of ethical AI and data privacy, ensuring learner trust is embedded in all product decisions
  • Represent the product to senior stakeholders, clearly communicating progress, risks, trade-offs, and impact
  • Own and refine the Product Backlog: slice Epics into Features and Stories, validate acceptance criteria, and keep priorities transparent to business and engineering
  • Prepare and facilitate sprint plannings, reviews, and retrospectives within a Scrum environment

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or a comparable role
  • Proven ability to lead products in complex, matrix environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Experience driving product launches and coordinating across non-technical domains (e.g. legal, commercial, content, integrations)
  • Demonstrated AI experience or strong hands-on curiosity, whether through shipped ML-powered features, formal training, or side projects
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, APIs, recommendation systems, or adaptive learning technologies
  • Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, or evidence-based optimization
  • Background in EdTech, learning platforms, or mission-critical B2C products.
