About the role

- Render pro-active specialist legal technical advice and support to relevant regions
- Enable sales/business growth and strengthen intermediary relationships
- Initiate client engagements on a referral/request basis or accompany Financial Advisers on joint calls for clients with complex planning needs
- Deliver legal and financial-planning technical expertise
- Identify market opportunities, enhance adviser capability, and support business development across the region
Requirements
- Legal degree
- Financial/Business Degree (B. Com, Bus. Science)
- Being an admitted attorney would be advantageous
- Strong legal/product technical exposure/experience (Trusts, Contracts etc)
- Financial Services experience, preferably with Financial Planning
- CFP® / RFP3
- RE 5
- Sanlam Senior Training modules (e.g., Investments)
- MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); S.net and other sales suite packages; Lotus Notes
- Financial Services Industry Knowledge
- Sanlam Product Knowledge
