Talent Acquisition Specialist responsible for finding talent for Sandvik Mining. Sourcing, screening, and hiring across multiple positions in the business area.
Responsibilities
Actively sources, recruits, screens, interviews and offers candidates for full time positions at the site
Provide creativity in sourcing candidates to include job boards, job fairs
Hosts Job Fairs/Events - secure facilities, establish local contacts, create postings online and handouts, marketing materials
Prepares offer letter packages and supports new hires with seamless onboarding process
Consult with hiring managers to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for open position(s)
Partner closely with hiring managers to assess their hiring needs and create a recruitment plan
Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
Utilize a variety of pipeline generation sources to grow and cultivate a broad and diverse pipeline of talent
Screen and interview candidates while providing feedback to hiring managers on candidate interviews
Manage the communication, scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field is preferred
3-5+ years of experience in high volume full life cycle recruiting
technical/maintenance and sales recruiting experience a plus
2+ years’ experience with college recruitment preferred
Workday experience preferred
Experience with recruitment platforms and assessment tools
