About the role

  • Legal intern at Safe-Guard providing support to the compliance department and assisting in contract negotiations. Opportunity for practical experience in a corporate legal environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general support to Safe-Guard's legal and compliance department.
  • Assist with negotiations and drafting of contracts to support the needs of the business.
  • Support a wide range of legal department work, which may include legal research, marketing reviews, revising and drafting customer forms, litigation and complaints support and regulatory tracking.
  • Participate in meetings with internal business partners to see how the legal department supports the Safe-Guard business.
  • Learn about the company and the culture at Safe-Guard.

Requirements

  • Must complete 2nd year of law school by May 2025 and have a history of academic excellence.
  • Must possess core behaviors/skills of: Diligence, Integrity, Strong Work Ethic, Excellent Written and Verbal Communication, Ability to Work Independently, Problem Solving, and Quick & Versatile Learning.
