About the role

  • Enrollment Specialist providing support to reinsurance accountants and stakeholders. Assisting with enrollment, evaluation of applicants, and maintaining reinsurance records.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the provision of superior reinsurance services to internal and external stakeholders and clients.
  • Work with internal and external partners to facilitate the enrollment of new relationships into the Reinsurance Program
  • Assist with the evaluation of potential new applicants that are submitted for reinsurance programs to ensure they meet Company requirements and to validate the reason for offering reinsurance participation.
  • Work with internal and external partners to enroll new members to the Reinsurance Program
  • Track, report and communicate the progress of all enrollments.
  • Collect, track, coordinate and report required information, forms and applications associated with the Reinsurance Program
  • Partner with internal and external Legal Departments and clients to create or amend legal agreements associated with the Reinsurance Program
  • Partner with and coordinate activities of selected vendor to assist clients in establishing new reinsurance companies when needed.
  • Work with clients and banks to establish banking relationships and trust accounts for Reinsurance clients.
  • Assist in implementing systems and procedures for accurate accounting and reporting of all ceded reinsurance activity.
  • Servicing of assigned CFC accounts: Cession Statement preparation
  • Cash application into reinsurance system
  • Promptly respond and assist with inquiries.
  • Assist in implementing & modifying systems and procedures for accurate record keeping and reporting of all ceded reinsurance activity.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports as requested.
  • Accurately and quickly fulfill inquiries from Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Management, and clients as needed.
  • Manage and maintain administrative functions of the reinsurance program.
  • Maintain various task logs.
  • Partner with key personnel to assist with the proper interpretation, recognition, and operational implementation, and reporting of reinsurance agreements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Business
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
  • Strong written and oral communications and relational skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Insurance, reinsurance and/or automotive experience is a plus.
