About the role
- Educational advisor supporting public education in Brazil by implementing pedagogical training. Collaborating with municipal secretaries and public schools to enhance teaching practices.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with the institutions in the assigned portfolio;
- Conduct pedagogical training sessions with teams from Municipal Education Secretariats (SMEs) and Education Departments (DEs), as well as with public school staff;
- Monitor the work carried out by the institutions served and plan formative actions according to their needs;
- Record the actions carried out in the company's tools;
- Present the available educational materials and services whenever necessary or requested by the coordination team;
- Promote the company's training activities to the institutions served;
- Plan, organize, and monitor the activities outlined in Educational Solutions contracts with school networks, ensuring that contracted hours are fulfilled.
Requirements
- Academic Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Languages (English) with a postgraduate degree in Education.
- Experience:
- Experience working in schools as a teacher and/or as a pedagogical or subject-area coordinator, preferably within the public school system.
- Experience providing teacher professional development is a plus.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Proficiency in English and familiarity with English teaching methodologies.
- Knowledge of educational legislation and contemporary pedagogical topics.
