About the role
- Assistant Manager Finance handling day-to-day accounting and reporting in manufacturing environment. Preparing financial statements and managing audits compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting and reporting in manufacturing environment
- Responsible for Monthly and yearly closing
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Indian GAAP
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and closing processes
- Handle end to end accounting for fixed assets
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits
- Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions
- Support to Accounts payable and receivable function including booking of invoices
- Ensure TDS deduction as per provision of Income tax
- Claim the GST Input Tax Credit while booking invoices
- Identify process improvements and support implementation of financial systems and automation initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, procurement, and HR
- Support transfer pricing documentation and intercompany reconciliations
Requirements
- CA/CWA Intermediate or Bachelor/master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IGAAP, IFRS), financial reporting, and internal controls
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and compliances
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification is added advantage
- Experience working within the manufacturing sector is preferred
