• Operations Finance Business Partner at HPE responsible for financial strategy and analysis. Focused on operational and strategic decision-making affecting global capital strategies.

Responsibilities

• Partners with the businesses to ensure that the capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused.
• Gathers financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives.
• Drives the forecasting process by analyzing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Communicates and drives adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the organization's financial goals and policies.
• Ensures strong business controls.
• Provides highly innovative solutions and mentoring to lower level employees.

Requirements

• First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) strongly preferred.
• Typically 10+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
• Typically experienced in a variety of finance functions.
• Excellent communication skills, thought leadership, and business acumen working directly with L2, senior and executive level leadership teams.
• Great understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Superior business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
• Great teamwork skills.
• Good business acumen.
• Excellent project management skills.
