About the role
- Intake Coordinator handling incoming referrals and providing crisis support at Ryther, specializing in children's behavioral health. Conducting assessments and scheduling appointments for clients.
Responsibilities
- Field all incoming referrals through the website and phone calls.
- Provide customers with emotional and crisis support when needed.
- Screen all service requests.
- Provide an initial assessment of client’s likely needs and the agency’s ability to provide appropriate services in a timely manner.
- Maintain a working knowledge of regional resources to provide to customers.
- Collect necessary information and verify insurance coverage.
- Schedule clients for intake and ongoing appointments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred; relevant experience may be substituted.
- Excellent organizational skills.

- Previous administrative or medical office experience.
