About the role

  • Customer Engagement Manager managing local accounts and developing interest in Ryder services. Role focuses on customer education and maintaining relationships to boost sales and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned accounts in the Business Unit
  • Educate/develop customer interest in additional Ryder services
  • Maintain regular contact with customers
  • Develop a sales penetration plan
  • Present Ryder services and capabilities
  • Develop relationships with all customer buying influencers
  • Ensure contracted services are delivered to customers
  • Conduct regularly scheduled customer reviews
  • Monitor VOC results by account
  • Update CRM with relevant account-specific details and interactions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or transportation, or equivalent experience
  • 2 years or more experience providing service to customers
  • 2 years or more experience selling to customers
  • Sales skills
  • Account Management skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Contractual leasing experience
  • Pricing experience
  • Able to travel daily to customer locations within 120 miles of the Indianapolis area
