About the role

• Manager leading abandoned property consulting projects ensuring compliance, identifying savings, and managing client relationships. Overseeing a team while maintaining operational excellence and pursuing revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of Consultants to perform unclaimed property reviews designed to ensure compliance
• Identifies potential savings and recovers unclaimed property assets for clients
• Maintains existing client relationships and focuses on overall administration of client compliance responsibilities
• Researches abandoned property issues
• Reviews unclaimed property reports
• Performs audit defense services
• Identifies transactional planning and ensures conformity with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
• Creates positive team member experiences which lead to excellent client service
• Manages complex state abandoned property projects, including audit defense and asset recovery
• Develops and conducts client presentations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree or equivalent in Accounting and/or Finance
• Four to six years financial audit or abandoned property related experience
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research
• Valid driver’s license required
