About the role
- Finance Manager overseeing Development and Obsolescence in the Naval Power Finance organization. Leading a team of analysts, providing financial guidance, and managing Estimates at Completion.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of analysts.
- Serve as the financial point of contact for Program Management, providing financial guidance to IPT key team members and non-finance organizations, including Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations.
- Develop, support, and review Estimates at Completion (EAC).
- Develop and validate the delivery of Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs).
- Collaborate with Control Account Managers (CAMs), project schedulers, and other functional leads to ensure data integrity and accurate cost/schedule integration.
- Support compliance reviews and periodic process audits.
Requirements
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years prior relevant experience
- Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience.
- Hands-On experience with SAP Business Systems, APEX, and BW Toolset.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (i.e., pivot tables, advanced formulas), Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience developing Estimate at completes.
- U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
