Responsibilities
- Contribute to acquisitions, divestitures, other financial transactions and strategic opportunities by leading financial modeling, presentation development and due diligence execution
- Monitor and evaluate acquisition targets and key peer activities, including tracking recent events and analyzing performance / financial statements
- Support integration or separation planning activities for businesses undergoing acquisition or divestiture
- Construct analytical models in support of various strategy analyses
- Support the development and execution of RTX’s enterprise and business unit strategies
- Conduct market, competitive, and financial analyses to assess trends, threats, or opportunities
- Establish productive working relationships with key functions within the businesses to understand businesses / strategic objectives, and execute deals / key projects
- Assist in the preparation of senior-level briefings, which involves summarizing and communicating insights at the right level from detailed analyses
- Balance multiple projects while providing clear thinking and hands-on guidance to cross-functional team members in a collaborative work environment
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
- Proven analytical and financial modeling skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance after day one
