Designing and executing reliability tests to validate system performance under various environmental conditions.
Contributing to design decisions to ensure easy maintenance and repair of equipment in the field.
Assessing the impact of reliability on system life cycle costs.
Requirements
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Experience and knowledge of Reliability and Maintainability analysis.
Experience with circuit analysis knowledge, and the ability to perform detailed analyses on complex systems.
Experience with performing detailed analyses on complex mechanical/ Electrical Designs.
A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Microsoft Excel, is highly desirable.
Working knowledge of aircraft or electronic systems is highly desired.
A background in avionics maintenance, BIT design and verification experience, performing organizational level testability analyses, and the ability to develop diagnostics at the system level is a plus.
