About the role

• Associate Engineer – Technical Publications creating and revising technical documentation in aerospace. Collaborative role ensuring quality manual production to support aircraft systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise high-quality technical documentation such as: Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Aircraft Illustrated Parts Catalogs (AIPC), Component Maintenance Publications (CMP).
• Author clear and accurate procedures including assembly, disassembly, testing, and repair.
• Work with tools like Adobe FrameMaker, Arbortext Editor, and Common Source Databases (CSDB).
• Ensure compliance with industry standards including ATA100, iSpec 2200, and S1000D.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret engineering drawings, change documents (ECNs, SBs, SILs, etc.), and incorporate updates.
• Validate and resolve XML/SGML parsing errors and maintain document integrity.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of content quality, consistency, and usability.
• Apply Simplified Technical English (ASD-STE) for global readability.
• Support illustration integration using tools like Isodraw, 3DVIA, or CATIA (optional but advantageous).
• Manage and track document changes using PLM systems like Teamcenter or Ennovia.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 1–3 years in technical authoring within the aerospace or related industries.
• Hands-on experience with authoring tools and structured authoring (XML/SGML).
• Familiarity with aviation documentation standards and life cycle management.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to continuously learn and improve.
