About the role

  • Scrum Master facilitating Agile teams in Medellin, Colombia at Rockwell Automation. Ensuring Agile practices and collaborating with Product Owners to maintain a healthy backlog.

Responsibilities

  • You will facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Planning, Daily Stand-Up, Refinement, Review, and Retrospective).
  • You will ensure the team follows Agile principles and practices.
  • You will support us by helping evolve the scaled Agile approach.
  • You will participate in cross business community of practice to grow others and your knowledge.
  • You will collaborate with Product Owners to help support a healthy backlog.
  • You will foster collaboration among engineers across different teams.
  • You will communicate accomplishments, short-term goals, and hurdles with your team.
  • You will embrace someone mindset and foster team growth.
  • You will support, as Scrum Master, two or three teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar; or equivalent years of relevant work experience
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience designing and implementing software for embedded devices and systems
  • History of using object-oriented concepts such as inheritance and virtualization.
  • Knowledge of software and Engineer to Order test methodologies.
  • Experience in the Industrial Automation industry
  • History of communicating and presenting to varying levels of an organization
  • Experience collaborating with local and global technical development teams.
  • Experience in systems development lifecycle
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Cloud-native PaaS hosting experience in Azure
  • Experience building modern, public-facing UIs and APIs consumed by multiple teams
  • Experience with TypeScript and a modern UI framework like React or Vue
  • Experience with .NET, C#, JavaScript, and Microsoft SQL/ Azure SQL
  • Experience developing and deploying cloud-based solutions
  • Experience with business complexity and project interdependencies
  • Experience with CI/CD Scripting and Automation with PowerShell, Terraform, YAML
  • Adapt quickly to new technologies and changing our requirements
  • Work with multiple partners and influence project decisions
