About the role

  • Product Quality Engineer ensuring high quality standards for innovative products at Rockwell Automation. Collaborating on New Product Introduction (NPI) and post-sales activities while maintaining compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teams to support New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
  • Develop and implement quality plans, inspection criteria, and test methods for new products.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
  • Monitor post-sales product performance and customer feedback.
  • Work with manufacturing and development teams to resolve quality issues and improve product reliability.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to quality and reliability aspects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and evaluate technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials, production equipment, and finished products.
  • Ensure activities and products comply with both company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations.
  • Perform analysis and identify trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials, and bulk raw materials, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure that established manufacturing processes are followed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of combined experience in product quality engineering in a manufacturing environment, and New Product Introduction
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes
  • Product Development process (Concept, Design/development, prototyping, testing, and commercialization/Utilization) Desirable
  • Agile Methodology knowledge (desirable)
  • Familiarity with post-sales support and customer feedback analysis.
  • Certification in quality engineering (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma Green Belt) is a Plus.
