About the role

  • QA Engineer ensuring quality and performance in iGaming solutions for EveryMatrix. Applying best practices in testing across development environments with a focus on QA methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Apply QA best practices to develop and execute test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts.
  • Translate business requirements and user stories into structured, comprehensive test cases.
  • Create detailed test scenarios, including edge cases and varied data sets, with clearly defined expected outcomes.
  • Perform manual testing across multiple environments (Dev, Stage, Production), including Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Exploratory, Black Box, and API testing.
  • Support release cycles by validating features before deployment and performing post-release production checks.
  • Maintain and continuously improve regression test coverage.
  • Identify, document, and track defects with clear replication steps, impact assessment, and supporting evidence (screenshots, videos, logs).
  • Test UI implementations against design specifications (spacing, fonts, alignment, responsiveness) and raise UX concerns early in the development cycle.
  • Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and browser developer tools, validating request/response payloads and front-end/back-end integrations.
  • Support the execution of automated tests within CI/CD pipelines and assist in investigating and stabilising test failures.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of QA experience with a strong manual testing foundation.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC and STLC processes.
  • Strong experience in API testing (e.g., Postman).
  • Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail).
  • Understanding of HTTP protocols, REST APIs, and client-server architecture.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of feature areas and proactively manage testing activities.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive mindset with a strong sense of responsibility for quality.
  • Good prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript and experience with modern test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright), or willingness to transition to JavaScript-based automation using Playwright.
  • Openness to feedback and eagerness to grow in both manual and automation testing.
