Field Service Engineer providing support and service for industrial drive systems at Rockwell Automation. Involves travel, troubleshooting, and on-site installations in Brisbane and Sydney.
Responsibilities
Attend to field service work.
Provide technical assistance and field service to customers by performing one or more of the following things.
Engineering assistance application, programming specifications, etc.
Field service installation start-up integration, system optimization, maintenance, and warranty implementation.
Troubleshoot hardware and software problems at customer site
Provide customer coordination of RA products and systems by performing the following function.
On-site analysis and specification preparation.
Hardware configuration – system and product application.
Programming assistance.
Project coordination between customer, OEM sales, product division, etc
Technical support – field start-up, integration and maintenance.

Requirements
Hold a valid Australian electrical license.
Additional tertiary education or university degree is highly advantageous.
5+ years engineering and/or field experience
Proven experience with industrial drive systems, including VSD/VFD, LV/MV AC Drives (preferably Rockwell Automation / Allen Bradley)
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
Capability to deliver technical presentations to both internal teams and external customers.
Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Demonstrated active listening & teamwork skills
