About the role

  • Product Management Intern for Rich Products focusing on market research, product development, and customer engagement. Gaining hands-on experience in the food industry with flexible summer hours.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the Toppings, Creams, and Culinary Solutions (TCCS) categories.
  • Assist in defining product requirements and specifications based on research and stakeholder input
  • Monitor and evaluate competitive products and landscape, identify opportunities and threats to the category
  • Summarizing key insights and trends and dissemination of information to internal teams
  • Assist in the development and testing of new products, ensuring they meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and sales, to support product launch activities.
  • Support project management activities by tracking progress, updating project plans, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
  • Assist in managing customer feedback and inquiries related to TCCS products and overarching category.
  • Support customer WHQ visits, ideation sessions, and sample requests in a timely, organized, and efficient manner
  • Support of ad hoc customer-specific presentations and materials
  • Support of the 2026 Joint Sales Meeting planning process including assistance with the Category Strategic Plans, Innovation Showcase, and overarching meeting coordination.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on market research findings, product performance, and project status.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all project-related activities.

Requirements

  • Students must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree majoring in Marketing, Business or related business field
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize and be able to successfully handle several projects at once, organizational skills is a must
  • Must be resourceful; able to figure out who or where to look for information
  • Detail oriented with solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office 365 proficient, and computer savvy (i.e. use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, OneDrive, etc.)
  • Ideally, some background, passion or interest in food!
  • Able to occasionally lift 25 pounds.
