About the role

  • Lead Product Designer responsible for design initiatives and collaboration with product and engineering teams at Reward Gateway and Edenred. Focusing on user experience and design consistency in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of end-to-end design for major areas of the platform, from early discovery through to final delivery.
  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to define how our platform should behave and how people move through it.
  • Help develop and maintain our design system, ensuring components and guidelines are easy to use and consistently applied.
  • Turn complex problems or technical requirements into clear, thoughtful design solutions.
  • Partner with engineers throughout the build process to ensure high-quality implementation.
  • Use data, user insights, and experimentation to help guide your decisions and validate ideas.
  • Encourage user-centred thinking across the organisation and promote good design practices.
  • Contribute to broader product and platform discussions, helping shape future directions.
  • Clearly communicate design choices and rationale to different stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Product Designer or Lead Product Designer working in technical multi-product environments.
  • Strong systems thinking, with the ability to see design patterns that work across different teams and use cases.
  • A good understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles.
  • Experience contributing to or helping evolve a design system.
  • A portfolio that shows thoughtful problem solving, attention to detail, and real impact.
  • Comfortable working in areas with ambiguity and able to bring structure and clarity where needed.
  • Confident using research insights and data to inform your decisions.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work well with partners across the business.
  • Proactive, well-organised, and attentive to the details that matter.
  • Experience designing for AI or machine-learning powered experiences is highly advantageous.
