About the role

  • Staff Experience Designer crafting end-to-end experiences for Venmo app users. Collaborating with product and engineering teams to drive strategy and roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Develop plans to enhance the user and customer experience across the digital and physical products
  • Perform more-complex customer experiences that require highly specialized user interface and product design knowledge
  • Lead some projects or programs within the product function and may coordinate activities of others
  • Design process, product, and service improvements based on understanding of business needs and industry trends
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure user needs are prioritized in design processes

Requirements

  • 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR any equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 5+ years working in product design, with a blend of UX and visual design strengths
  • A portfolio of work, showcasing design excellence in delivering impactful business outcomes
  • Experience working at either an agency or from within a consumer facing app
  • Mastery of product design methodology and lifecycle across significant channels and platforms
  • Customer-focused, with experience using design research methods to uncover customer insights
  • Thorough knowledge of essential channels and platforms, with experience in mobile, dedicated, web and native solution design
  • Solid mastery of Figma and prototyping tools
