About the role

  • Engineer in Electrical Engineering ensuring the safe operation and development of power grids at Regensburg Netz GmbH. Involved in digitalization and sustainability efforts in the energy sector.

Responsibilities

  • Operation of power grids
  • Development and enhancement of the grid
  • Contribute to digitalization initiatives
  • Design and optimize maintenance and servicing strategies for plants and networks
  • Independent, fully responsible management and execution of projects
  • Analyze and improve maintenance and grid operation processes
  • Central point of contact for maintenance and servicing matters
  • Active participation in workplace safety
  • On-call duty approximately every six weeks

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Ideally experience in power grid operations
  • Valid driving license (Class B); Class BE desirable
  • Willingness to learn (e.g., power quality, cable measurement technology, obtaining a C1E license for cable measurement vehicles, or qualification as a safety specialist)
  • Independent, goal-oriented and responsible working style
  • Team player with good communication skills to support colleagues
