About the role

  • Technical sales role for plastic pipe systems in Bavaria, requiring experience in civil engineering and client consulting. Focus on rainwater management support and business development.

Responsibilities

  • Technical sales of plastic pipe systems within the Bavaria sales territory
  • Primary technical and commercial advisory to building authorities, municipalities and specialist planners (engineering and architectural firms)
  • Subsequent support and consulting for building-materials distributors and construction companies in coordination with regional field sales colleagues
  • Support in planning and supervision of construction projects, particularly regarding rainwater management for infrastructure topics
  • Development of the sales territory through management of the existing customer base and acquisition of new customers
  • Organization and delivery of technical training as well as company and product presentations of the rainwater management product portfolio
  • Participation in trade fairs and customer events together with commercial and technical field sales colleagues

Requirements

  • Completed technical or commercial vocational training, degree in civil engineering, certified technician or comparable qualifications
  • Several years of professional experience in civil engineering, ideally in pipeline systems, sewer construction, road construction or drainage
  • Sales experience and previous field sales activity desirable
  • Willingness to travel within the regional sales territory of Bavaria
  • Strong project- and customer-orientation as well as an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Team spirit, organisational talent, strong communication skills
  • Loyalty, reliability, initiative and a structured working style
  • Confident use of Microsoft Office and CRM tools; ERP experience desirable
  • Native-level German
  • Conversational English desirable
