About the role
- Senior Network Engineer architecting and operating infrastructure solutions for R&C Request GmbH. Leading projects and optimizing network and UC environments in a hybrid setup.
Responsibilities
- Infrastructure architecture & operations – planning, installation, and operation of network and/or UC solutions in on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments across all sites
- Security, performance & automation – operation of load‑balancing and security systems, network management, as well as automation and virtualization across routing, switching, and UC infrastructure
- Project responsibility & continuous improvement – leading infrastructure projects and continuously optimizing the existing network and UC environment
Requirements
- Technical background & infrastructure know‑how – IT qualification with solid knowledge of network and/or UC technologies (voice, video, messaging), including experience with Windows and Linux systems
- Hands‑on skills & operational competence – confident use of CLI and scripting; ideally additional experience with storage/storage switching and an understanding of IT security topics
- Working style & personal attributes – independent, precise working style, strong problem‑solving skills, team player; very good German and English language skills
