About the role
- Technician for commissioning testing stands at RENK Group requiring mechatronics background and international travel. Responsible for the setup and functionality testing of various technical components.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and take over our test stands in-house and, after comprehensive onboarding, at our international customers
- Independently perform worldwide commissioning of the test stands and test-stand software
- Conduct measurement-based investigations and analyses
- Ensure functionality of various components such as hydraulic systems, drive technology, gearboxes, as well as control and regulation technology
- Coordinate commissioning activities and workflows with external and internal interfaces up to successful final acceptance
- Instruct and supervise commissioning across the different technical areas
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for customers and cooperating trades/contractors
Requirements
- Degree in mechatronics or completed training as a mechatronics technician with further qualification as a technician (m/f/d)
- Several years of solid professional experience in special-purpose machine construction and in the commissioning of systems
- Good PLC knowledge (e.g., Beckhoff/TwinCAT or Siemens S7/TIA-Portal)
- Knowledge of control and drive technology
- Good written and spoken English
- Willingness to undertake regular worldwide business travel (approx. 60%), maximum 6 weeks per assignment
- Enjoy working with demanding and complex technical systems
