About the role

  • Media Advisor producing journalistic content for a client of state impact in Ponta Grossa. Engaging with local media and covering events for effective communication strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Research and writing of journalistic content related to the work of a state-level client in the Central Region;
  • Production of press releases, media notes, story pitches, and articles;
  • Journalistic coverage of events, interviews, and institutional activities;
  • Active engagement with local and regional media;
  • Distribution and follow-up of story pitches to media outlets;
  • Creation and organization of content within the client's internal communications system;
  • Generation of reports and media performance metrics;
  • Travel to cover events.

Requirements

  • Degree in Social Communication with a focus in Journalism (or Bachelor's degree in Journalism);
  • Previous experience as a press officer, reporter, or writer at media outlets, agencies, or institutions;
  • Established relationships with local and regional media and knowledge of the Paraná media landscape (prior experience with public policy clients is desirable);
  • Knowledge of clipping techniques, media training, and media performance indicators;
  • Proficiency with press distribution platforms, content management systems, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace;
  • Familiarity with event coverage and managing communications demands in public or corporate environments;
