Responsibilities
Independent procurement of components and services, taking both technical and economic aspects into account
Quote management: obtaining, evaluating and comparing offers as well as independently conducting price and contract negotiations
Strategic management and development of suppliers, including evaluation and risk management
Ensuring material availability in close coordination with Production, Engineering and Logistics – observing delivery deadlines, cost targets and quality requirements
Analysis and monitoring of procurement markets and deriving appropriate sourcing strategies
Scheduling and control of delivery processes in cooperation with production planning and the central coordination hub
Requirements
Completed degree in Industrial Engineering (Mechanical Engineering), Business Administration with a technical focus, or comparable qualification
Basic understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing processes
Analytical mindset with a structured, solution-oriented way of working
Strong communication skills, team orientation and negotiation ability
High degree of personal responsibility, cost awareness and strategic thinking
Initial experience in an industrial environment, ideally in mechanical and plant engineering is an advantage
Basic knowledge of SAP (in particular PP and MM modules) and common MS Office applications is an advantage
Very good German skills and good English skills, both written and spoken
