About the role

  • Manager responsible for supplier relations and procurement strategy within pharmaceutical research & development. Collaborating for efficient supplier integration and risk management in procurement.

Responsibilities

  • Leads relationships with assigned key suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and the requirements of commercial partners related to business activities.
  • Acts as an internal consultant to business leaders by leveraging a deep understanding of supplier capabilities, the market ecosystem, customer needs and company requirements to identify opportunities to develop existing supplier relationships.
  • Conducts regular risk assessments with suppliers and provides recommendations to optimize costs and reduce procurement and inventory risks.
  • Develops and implements a supplier management framework to identify, assess, onboard, segment and manage suppliers in order to build an efficient supplier network.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop and manage key performance indicators.
  • Responsible for the design and implementation of supplier evaluation, risk assessment and compliance frameworks to adapt to the evolving needs of the business.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product and service sourcing in the pharmaceutical industry or a related sector.
  • Bilingual (French and English, spoken and written).
