About the role
- License Manager responsible for monitoring software license compliance at RENK Group. Involves collaboration with IT and legal departments in Augsburg, Germany.
Responsibilities
- Pflege und Überwachung des Lizenzbestands, einschließlich Dokumentation von Lizenzverträgen und -bedingungen.
- Sicherstellung, dass alle eingesetzten Software- und Systemlizenzen den rechtlichen und vertraglichen Vorgaben entsprechen.
- Analyse des Lizenzbedarfs in Zusammenarbeit mit den Fachbereichen und der IT-Abteilung.
- Verhandlung und Abschluss von Lizenzverträgen in enger Abstimmung mit der Rechtsabteilung und dem Einkauf.
- Identifikation von Einsparpotenzialen und Implementierung von Maßnahmen zur Lizenzkostenreduktion.
- Interne Beratung und Schulung der Mitarbeitenden zu Lizenzthemen.
Requirements
- erfolgreich abgeschlossene Ausbildung als IT-Kaufmann, Systeminformatiker oder vergleichbar.
- mehrjährige Erfahrung in einer ähnlichen Position.
- vertraut im Umgang mit Lizenzverwaltungssoftware und IT-Infrastrukturen.
- Erfahrung mit Software-Audits großer Hersteller.
- umfangreiches Wissen im Bereich Lizenzrecht, IT-Management und Vertragswesen.
- sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
- Fähigkeit, komplexe Lizenzstrukturen zu analysieren und zu optimieren.
- Verhandlungsgeschick und klare Kommunikation mit internen und externen Stakeholdern.
