Group Product Manager leading product strategy and execution for Relay's Banking Platform. Managing a team of Product Managers and collaborating closely with engineering and design teams.
Responsibilities
Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Relay’s Banking Platform across multiple product teams
Lead and develop a team of 4-5 Product Managers, setting clear expectations for ownership, decision-making, and outcomes
Translate company-level goals into a sequenced portfolio of initiatives, balancing customer value, platform scalability, risk, and operational complexity
Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Risk, and Operations leaders to deliver high-quality, compliant, and scalable banking capabilities
Ensure teams maintain a deep understanding of customer needs through research and ongoing customer engagement
Establish and review success metrics across the platform, using data to guide prioritization and evaluate impact
Drive strong cross-team execution, removing dependencies and holding teams accountable to outcomes
Raise the bar for product management excellence at Relay by coaching PMs and improving how we plan, ship, and learn
Requirements
8+ years of experience in Product Management, including managing multiple PMs or leading multiple product teams
You have a strong bias to action. We’re a fast-paced environment and we value quick decision making and iteration to maximize learnings.
Proven ability to own and evolve portfolio-level roadmaps, not just individual products or features
Your work experience shows a history of excellence and impact, with a track record of successfully managing and overseeing a broad product portfolio
You know how to extract valuable insights from data, using different statistical methods and forms of data analysis
A strong people leader with a track record of developing PMs and building high-performing teams
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and making principled trade-offs in fast-paced environments
You care deeply about small businesses and their owners/operators
You have experience turning data into insights using tools like Excel, SQL etc.
You are comfortable prototyping a simple user flow/UX in a tool like Figma
