Technical liaison for valued customers in the beverage-focused application engineering role. Support sales and provide solutions while traveling to customer sites across North America.
Responsibilities
Serve as the technical liaison for valued customers and support sales in project discussions
Translate customer drawings and specifications into product solutions
Create quote and selection tools, technical sales documents & presentations
Travel to customer and distributor sites to introduce new products and troubleshoot installations
Handle technical complaints and recommend product selections
Engage with end users and OEMs to create novel solutions in the beverage market
Participate in exhibitions and trade shows as necessary
Support plant operations with cost-saving initiatives and a continuous improvement culture
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and/or 3-years + of equivalent, related experience
Demonstrated organizational skills with an emphasis on details and documentation
Ability to travel and work at a customer site for extended periods of time
Strong relationship and team-building skills, including conflict resolution
Eager to learn and look beyond the main question when communicating with customers
Must be a customer-facing contact who can quickly react to claims and requests
Cooperate with sales colleagues and specialists and engage with global engineering team
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Teams, One Drive/Sharepoint, Salesforce
Past SAP or Oracle experience is a plus!
Fluent in English (written and spoken) – basic proficiency in at least one other language.
