About the role

  • Technical Customer Support Engineer at congatec providing support throughout the software product design lifecycle. Ensuring customer satisfaction and collaborating closely with various teams.

Responsibilities

  • Technical customer support throughout the entire product design-in and lifecycle process of software products
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through efficient and reliable 2nd-level support
  • Support sales on design-wins and customer projects
  • Prepare and deliver product workshops and training for customers, partners and staff
  • Create, manage and process customer support tickets using internal databases
  • Coordinate communication between customers and 3rd-level software support
  • Work closely with internal departments to develop and implement customer-specific solutions
  • Conduct customer visits (workshops, enablement, support)
  • Provide technical support at trade shows and customer events

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a comparable technical qualification
  • Several years (approx. 5+ years) of professional experience in technical customer support in embedded computing or a similar industry
  • Solid technical knowledge of embedded systems with a focus on software
  • Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, independent working style
  • Good understanding of customer needs and sales-related processes
  • Professional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously
  • Experience working independently and in cross-functional teams
  • Experience with common computer applications and internal support systems
  • Familiarity with relevant guidelines, processes and best practices for technical documentation
