About the role
- Management Accountant in Commercial Finance handling month-end reporting and financial insights. Collaborating on high-impact projects and strengthening financial systems and controls.
Responsibilities
- Own month-end reporting for your sites – deliver accurate, on-time reports with real insight behind the numbers
- Prepare and post journals, and produce monthly P&L and balance sheet reports
- Review GRNI and general ledger entries with a keen eye for detail
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items efficiently
- Work closely with stakeholders to deliver daily financial KPIs and highlight key P&L drivers
- Maintain and improve financial governance – support SOP compliance and implementation
- Raise customer invoices and investigate queries to ensure smooth resolution
- Support audit processes and ensure all purchasing, invoicing, and capex policies are followed
Requirements
- CIMA / ACCA qualified or part qualified
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of Sage 200 is desirable
- Experience of month end accounts preparation and reporting
- Analytical mindset, commercial awareness, and confidence to work with our stakeholders
- Ability to comprehend and interpret operational date and financial models
- Capability of working on cross functional assignments and developing client relationships alongside multiple stakeholders
