About the role
- Sr. Planning Manager overseeing ZSC & WSC material planning and logistics at Reckitt. Ensuring alignment with business needs and fostering continuous improvement within supply chain processes.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the leadership of the ZSC and WSC material planning, site scheduling, internal logistics, key vendor relationships, and warehousing processes
- Ensure alignment of processes with Nutrition network business needs and strategies
- Partner with North America business owners to execute Sales and Operations Planning processes
- Foster continuous improvement mindset in a safe and quality-driven environment
- Coordinate readiness plans for new product launches in North America and in international markets
- Partner with procurement on business continuity initiatives and strong vendor relationships
- Establish and implement strategic continuous improvement plans for the ZSC & WSC supply organization and processes
- Create and develop a high-performing team committed to the mission of the supply organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business management discipline is required
- Master’s degree and APICS CPIM (Certified in Inventory and Production Management) is strongly preferred
- Minimum of five years of experience in supply chain disciplines
- Demonstrated knowledge of materials management, production capacity planning, and/or manufacturing
- Experience in a broad range of supply chain functions
- Experience leading a cross-functional team and managing people and teams in a complex changing environment
- Proven track record of developing people and organizations
- Thorough knowledge of the planning discipline and related software applications
- SAP APO experience is strongly preferred
- Understanding of demand creation and demand planning processes
- Knowledge of financial and operational measures such as customer service measures, inventory days on hand, cash flow measurement, cost of goods and gross margin
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience participating in problem-solving activities utilizing continuous improvement metrics, tools, and methodologies
