About the role

  • Area Sales Manager at Reckitt managing geographical sales efforts and ensuring execution of brand and trade strategies. Leading a sales team to meet performance targets in FMCG.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the MT/Retail & Wholesale universe within the assigned geographic strata
  • Ensuring the designed RTM functions smoothly in tandem with distributor operations
  • Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager and managing a team of 1-3 TS/TM
  • Ensuring execution of brand and trade strategies across the given geographical domain
  • Achieving Primary & IMS targets with set RR/YTD ambitions
  • Developing distributor development and value addition plans to improve distribution efficiency

Requirements

  • Educated to a minimum of bachelor's degree level in a business related subject from a recognised university
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Sales, preferably in an FMCG environment
