Responsibilities
- Collaborating with technical, new-building, and operational teams to define and implement innovative, cost-effective solutions
- Sourcing and managing suppliers to ensure the Royal Caribbean fleet benefits from differentiated Engine & Propulsion systems
- Developing and executing strategic sourcing plans for engine and propulsion categories
- Negotiating contracts and managing relationships with suppliers
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and technological advancements
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards across procurement activities
- Supporting new-building projects and ongoing maintenance with innovative procurement solutions
- Collaborating with stakeholders to define SLA’s and KPI’s for suppliers
Requirements
- Extensive experience in engine and propulsion procurement, within the maritime, transport or other related industries
- Strong understanding of marine engine & propulsion technologies, and industry standards
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Proven track record of delivering cost-competitive, differentiated solutions at scale
- Strong commercial mindset and a keen problem solver with a strong personal drive
- BSc or MSc in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or similar (Beneficial)
