About the role

Support the Capital Markets UK & Europe outsourcing and third party strategy
Collaborating with stakeholders across geographies in the management and reporting of outsourcing and third-party risk
Ensuring compliance with regulatory and enterprise policies & guidelines
Support both third party and outsourcing governance in line with regulatory guidance and RBC’s governance policies
Support the implementation of monitoring controls and metrics for outsourced services and third-party arrangements, where applicable
Ensure the engagement owners are monitoring, reviewing and mitigating outsourcing and third party risk
Develop, publish and present reports relating to outsourced and third-party activities, to key stakeholders and relevant risk committees
Support the compliance standards for contracts and outsourcing relationships in collaboration with Data Privacy, Risk Management, Legal, Compliance Information Security, Business Continuity Management and Vendor Management.
Act as SME for key stakeholders, including Internal and External Audit and Regulators.

Requirements

University degree in business, finance or other related fields or similar/equivalent
Strong relevant background preferably in Third Party Risk Management, Outsourcing Management, Operational Risk, or Regulatory Compliance
Experience with Outsourcing regulatory requirements (EBA Guidelines, PRA Supervisory Statement SS2/21, FCA), or strong understanding of related risk management principles
Familiarity with regulatory landscape facing global banks
Ideally, experience in banking industry, consulting or regulator institutions
Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
