About the role

  • Gameplay Programmer developing AI functionalities for non-player characters at Quantic Dream. Collaborating with various teams to enhance gameplay across ambitious projects in video game development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop gameplay features related to NPC behavior across various game contexts, from conception through implementation, while adhering to programming standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to evolve solutions and improve workflow.
  • Contribute to priority planning by collaborating closely with design, production, animation, audio, VFX, UI, and QA teams.
  • Debug and optimize systems required by the games.
  • Continuously refine your programming expertise by staying current with best practices and emerging technologies to help push the boundaries of what’s possible.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in a studio role as a gameplay programmer, with at least one shipped game.
  • Proficiency in C++.
  • Strong knowledge of mathematics.
  • Broad programming experience across multiple game domains (gameplay, AI, engine, etc.) is an asset.
