Responsibilities
- Develop backend services using Java 17+ and Spring Boot
- Build and maintain REST and gRPC APIs
- Develop cloud-native applications on Azure, including deployments on AKS (Kubernetes)
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Use Kafka for asynchronous messaging
- Implement caching solutions such as Redis
- Create and maintain unit tests
- Use Docker and CI/CD pipelines for building and deploying services
- Troubleshoot and improve performance of existing services
- Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in backend development
- Strong knowledge of Java (17+) and Spring Boot
- Experience with Azure and Kubernetes/AKS
- Good understanding of REST and gRPC
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with caching tools like Redis
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
