About the role
- SAP Developer contributing to enterprise-scale solutions with expertise in ABAP development. Collaborating with global teams and leading technical projects in a dynamic setting.
Responsibilities
- Deploys code across Dev, QA and Production environments using central repositories
- Develops/Maintains/Supports new and existing data flows from multiple source systems into BODS
- Develops/Maintains/Supports business rules and process around data cleansing, consolidation, and validation, etc.
- Troubleshoots/debugs ETL and SQL query issues and provides solutions
- Develop ETL logic utilizing various features available in the Data Integrator component of BODS, including Audit Rules, Built-in Functions, Interactive Debugger, Transforms such as Query, Key Generation, Table Comparison, History Preserving and Validation
- Develop/Maintains/Supports RICEFs with ABAP and participate in different phases of projects as a technical expertise in SAP.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field
- 8+ years of strong hands-on experience and skillset on RICEFW objects development utilizing ABAP language in the core modules of SAP ECC or S/4 HANA
- Experience in developing interfaces using RFC, ABAP Proxy, ALE/IDOCs, EDI, BAPIs, user exit, web dynpro, web services, Odata services
- ABAP reporting experience includes ABAP OOP’s reports - Classical / ALV Interactive Reports
- Development of load programs via a custom ABAP program or various SAP tools such as LSMW, LTMC / Migration Cockpit, ALE, etc.
- Enhancements – User/Customer Exit, BADI, BTE and Enhancement Framework
- Functional knowledge on modules like SD, MM, PP, QM, FI, CO will be plus
- Strong working knowledge of multiple extractors connecting SAP, Non-Sap systems & SAAS systems using BODS.
- Knowledge on technical design and implementation of lifecycle activities associated with the extract, transform and loading (ETL) of database tables with automated utilities, ETL tools
- Candidates must be willing & comfortable working in US Time zone
- Proficient in English as candidate will be working with global stakeholders.
