About the role

  • Provide administrative support for insurance administration in liability and financial lines. Collaborate with underwriting and finance teams in a leading insurance group in Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive administrative support for the Liability and Financial Lines insurance area
  • Administrative handling and processing of international insurance policies
  • Entry and maintenance of policy data and risk information in the policy administration system
  • Preparation of insurance policies, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and billing
  • Research and support in the preparation of reports and management information
  • Independent interaction with internal stakeholders and interfaces.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as an Insurance and Finance Clerk
  • Further professional qualification as an Insurance Specialist (Versicherungsfachwirt) or Business Administrator (Betriebswirt) is desirable
  • Prior experience in the administration of international insurance contracts
  • Experience in commercial/industrial insurance
  • Independent and team-oriented working style
  • MS Office, especially Excel
  • Affinity for IT systems and processes
  • Good command of English
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working
  • Communication and empathy skills
  • High reliability and quick comprehension (fast learner).
