About the role

  • B2B customer support specialist in the payment sector at qards assisting major clients with inquiries. Responsibilities include advising, analyzing needs, and implementing processes for improved service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide telephone and written advice to DKB and answer and coordinate all inquiries within qards’ service scope (e.g., prevention and claims management, IT, complaints, regulatory matters, etc.)
  • Analyze (new) customer requirements and coordinate with the relevant specialist departments
  • Prepare proposals, decision documents and contract amendments in close cooperation with the specialist departments and the legal team
  • Facilitate customer meetings and workshops
  • Support the development and implementation of new processes and identify and implement improvement opportunities
  • Contribute subject-matter expertise to cross-departmental projects

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training and several years of professional experience in the payments or banking sector, or in B2B customer service in related industries
  • Strong customer and service orientation with a friendly, articulate and confident manner
  • Experience in process and quality management combined with solid technical understanding and strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Structured and independent working style
  • IT affinity and experience in project work
  • Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel)
  • Business-fluent German and good English skills
  • A basic police clearance certificate with no entries and a signed internal declaration confirming orderly financial affairs
