Requirements
Experience in a mid-size accounting firm is an asset
Bachelor in Accounting
Qualified Canadian CPA or equivalent reciprocal/recognized designation is considered an asset
Hands-on experience in accounting and tax software such as Taxprep or iFirm
Drafting financial statements including note disclosures
Experienced in review and compilation engagements
Understanding of ASPE accounting standards
Understanding of Canadian tax and ability to prepare tax returns for corporations, trusts and partnerships
Creativity in problem solving in today’s dynamic environment, bringing your perspectives to the stakeholders
Excellent client relationship management skills
