About the role
- Manager Accounting overseeing financial processes at Pulse Advertising GmbH, ensuring balance in accounts and supporting team with monthly and annual financial statements.
Responsibilities
- You ensure our numbers stay balanced and manage the general ledger and sub-ledgers with a strong eye for detail
- Together with your team, you prepare the monthly financial statements, support the annual financial statements, and ensure everything runs smoothly
- You oversee all posting processes and keep the day-to-day accounting operations running
- You are the point of contact for tax advisors and colleagues from other teams
- You contribute your own ideas, identify opportunities for improvement, and help make our financial processes even smarter
Requirements
- You hold a commercial qualification, ideally gained at a tax advisory firm, or an equivalent qualification, and you are committed and knowledgeable in accounting
- You have experience in general ledger accounting and know how to make the numbers work
- You are highly familiar with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and have ideally also worked with IFRS
- You are experienced with ERP systems such as SAP or DATEV and adapt quickly to new tools
- You are fluent in German and ideally in English
