About the role
- IT-System-Engineer responsible for Windows Server environments and customer installations. Seeking experienced candidates with strong technical and administrative skills in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for Windows Server environments (installation, operation, further development)
- Administration of DNS, DHCP, DFS, Hyper-V, WSUS
- Active Directory management such as role and permission models, Group Policies, etc.
- Implementation of security concepts in the Windows environment (e.g., BSI IT-Grundschutz, CERT-Bw, etc.)
- Automation of routines using scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
- On-site rollouts at customer locations (installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance)
- System documentation
Requirements
- Completed technical degree (e.g., computer science) or equivalent; alternatively vocational training/technician qualification with several years of professional experience
- Professional experience required, particularly in the administration of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory
- Experience with Group Policies, Microsoft Exchange Server, Hyper-V, WSUS, antivirus software (e.g., Microsoft Defender, Symantec Endpoint Protection)
- Experience in the design, implementation, integration, testing and acceptance of complex systems
- High willingness to travel, resilience and flexibility, strong teamworking skills, customer orientation
- Very good German and good English language skills
